Scotland Chair: Waqas Hussain
I am Waqas Hussain but most of the NEC call me Waqqas Hussaiyan and I am a little too embarrassed to correct them this late in the year. I am a Life Sciences graduate who loves education so much that he’s decided to stay on at the same university and begin a new degree in Medicine (which is actually a dream come true, Alhumdullilah) so technically the Scotland Chair this year is a wee fresher. My hobbies include: befriending security guards at university so they don’t throw me out of buildings I shouldn’t be in; avoiding security guards who have rejected my friendship so they don’t throw me out of buildings I shouldn’t be in; drinking tea and wearing sweater-vests. My hobbies do not include: writing about myself or getting my picture taken so this whole thing is rather uncomfortable for me, thank you for that FOSIS. I feel like I have written almost enough to get away with sending this and the deadline is fast approaching so you need not read any further. I am also a semi-retired paperboy.
